Introducing the best way to change oil, the Engine Oil Drain Valve. Install this valve and you can drain your engine oil without tools and without mess. Just lift the lever of this solid brass ball valve and give it a quarter turn to open it. Return the lever to its original position and it locks closed, double sealed to prevent leakage. The Engine Oil Drain Valve is made of corrosion resistant forged brass and stainless steel. The ball valve design provides a straight flow for efficient drainage and a perfect seal when closed. Frozen drain plug and stripped threads are eliminated forever. Drawing samples for oil analysis is as easy as one-two-three. Sizes to fit all cars and light trucks vans. The Engine Oil Drain Valve is also available with "nipple" to accept hose(N-type and L-type valves). It makes oil changing easy for industrial engines, boat engines and other hard-to-reach applications.
One Touch Operation:
To open lift control lever and turn counter-clockwise
To close simply turn the lever clockwise 90 degrees
Installation
1)Remove original drain plug and drain oil into acceptable receptacle.
2)Insert Engine Oil Drain Valve with gasket* and tighten. Do not over tighten. Give only a 1/4 turn by by a small crescent wrench.
3)Make sure valve is closed and refill crankcase.
*Some valves (i.e. T-200, T201, T-202, F-110) do not require gasket as they are self-tightening tapered threads. **Some oil pans are designed with
recessed drain hole which may prevent the valve from being installed
properly. (If the valve can not be tightened all the way without
hitting the oil pan wall, do not install the Drain Valve to your
vehicle. Adapters(ADP-104, ADP-106, ADL-106, ADP-107, ADP-109, ADP-22, ADP-207 ADP-710) are available for some models.
The N-Type and L-type Valves
The N-type valves and L-type valves are equipped with a Nipple to enable the operator to attach a hose and drain the engine oil out of tight spots and away where access to the plug itself and resulting mess are often problems. While the Nipple pf the N-type valve is intergrated with the body and not allowed to be separated from the body, The L-type valves has an elbow type of nipples that is not only removable from the body but also capable of rotating 360 degrees and being fixed at any angle.
Like the standard Engine Oil Drain Valve, these spring assisted ball valves replace standard oil drain plug making oil changes easier and saving valuable time. Also ideal for oil sampling analysis as a small amount of oil can be drawn without shutting off the engine. The N-type and L-type Engine Oil Drain Valve takes the mess out of routine maintenance on industrial engines.
WARNING!
N-type and L-type valves are not recommended for cars with low ground clearance. Please make sure there is enough distance from the ground.
